Wonderful low-key and authentic Japanese vibes, in a strip normally reserved for pricier, big-box joints. But seriously, everything on this almost-daily special menu is spot-on... from pickled veggies and fish to slices of daily changing sashimi specials so thick they're kinda hard to "chopstick." 

Aside from being the most legit Japanese for blocks, Naka Naka only seats 20 or so, never seems to have a wait, and just happens to be steps from the 17th street entrance to the brand-spaking-new Highline park.

We say pull this out of your pocket on after your next elevated park frolic, or anytime. You'll thank us.
